Conveniently located within walking distance of BTS Phrom Phong Station at Sukhumvit 45, Sing Sing Theater stands looking as mysterious as ever next to Fortyfive Bar & Kitchen, fellow brainchild of Sanya Souvanna Phouma, Bangkok’s King of the Night. Our first impression upon walking into the club was sheer amazement at the imaginative, fanciful decor. Sing Sing exudes character and an exotic, delightfully peculiar one at that. The concept is vintage Chinese with dazzling lanterns covering the ceilings, setting the mood and lighting for our next Instagram post. In the center of the club is a dance floor, which is mostly crowded and always buzzing.

เริ่มต้นเดินทางจาก BTS สถานีไหนก็ได้มาลงสถานี ’พร้อมพงษ์’ เดินมาซอยสุขุมวิท 45 จะเจอทางเข้าลึกลับ น่าค้นหา อยู่ติดกับร้านอาหาร Fortyfive Bar & Kitchen พอได้เดินเข้าไปข้างใน Sing Sing สิ่งแรกที่รู้สึกคือ ทึ่งในความอลังการของร้าน และคาแรคเตอร์ที่โดดเด่น แตกต่างไม่เหมือนใคร ที่นี่เป็นบาร์ที่มีคอนเซ็ปท์คือโรงหนังจีนย้อนยุคเน้นตกแต่งด้วยตะเกียงไฟบนเพดานเรียงกันเต็มไปหมด ให้ไฟสลัวเพื่อเพิ่มบรรยากาศดีๆ และแสงสวยๆ ให้พวกเราได้ชม หากเพื่อนๆ ได้มาที่นี่แล้ว ก็ะได้ถ่ายรูปเช็คอินไม่ซ้ำใครแน่นอน และแน่นอน ที่นี่ยังมีพื้นที่สำหรับสายแดนซ์ให้ไปเปิดฟลอร์ตรงกลางร้านอีกด้วยนะ 

Look up from the dance floor and you will see a huge swing and a beautiful model on top of it. This really adds to the mood and atmosphere of the place, though just thinking of being on the swing makes us feel a little bit light headed. This is definitely the spot to take your Instagram or Facebook story, though, with the fantastical swing and dance floor in your frame. Tonight, LGBT night comes with a bit of a twist that will get your inner child screaming. Here, we learn that #loveislove even in the worlds of Walt Disney. Disney freaks, get ready, because Sing Sing invited the entire cast to get help get your party started. We spotted Princess Jasmine and her Genie serving popcorn, Princess Belle in her beautiful yellow dress and Tinkerbell dancing her wings off. Seeing Ariel and Ursula sipping cocktails with Peterpan definitely made my entire week! We managed to snap a few shots for all of you.

หากมองขึ้นไปข้างบนจะเห็นชิงช้าขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งจะมีนางแบบนั่งแกว่งอยู่อย่างสง่างาม เพิ่มอรรถรสในการรับชมเป็นอย่างยิ่ง นี่เราดูก็แอบเสียว แต่ใครมาที่นี่แล้วไม่ได้ถ่ายรูปโถง บรรณได และชิงช้านี่ถือว่ายังมาไม่ถึงนะคะ วันนี้พวกเรามางาน Born This Way เป็นปาร์ตี้ LGBT สำหรับเพื่อนๆ ชาวสีรุ้งโดยเฉพาะเลยค่ะ ซึ่งงานวันนี้มีตีมสุดพิเศษคือตีมดิสนี่ย์ และทาง Sing Sing ก็ขนมาจนครบเซ็ทเลยค่ะ ทั้งเจ้าหญิงเบลล์ จากเรื่องโฉมงามกับเจ้าชายอสูร เจ้าหญิงจัสมินกับจีนี่ในตะเกียง นางเงือกน้อยแอเรียล์และเออร์ซูล่า ปีเตอร์แพนกับทิงเกอร์เบลล์ และตัวละครดิสนี่ย์อีกมากมาย ทุกๆ ตัวละคร นอกจากจะมาสร้างสีสันให้กับคืนวันอาทิตย์ของพวกเราแล้ว ทุกคนยังน่ารัก หยุดแจกป๊อปคอร์นให้เราได้ถ่ายรูปไปอวดเพื่อนกันอีกด้วยค่ะ ไม่ใช่ทุกวันนะที่ออกมาเที่ยวแล้วจะได้เจอเจ้าหญิงดิสนีย์ครบเซ็ทซะขนาดนี้ 

In case you missed it the first time, this is a two-story establishment. For those of you who prefer a bit of privacy, we recommmend the pagoda-style seats on the second floor, which has its own bar with the same excellent service you find throughout Sing Sing. My favorite part of the LGBT night here is the extravagant performance with characters dressed in different themes. Some performers have graced the Thailand’s Got Talent stage and the level of detail put into the creation of these shows will surely impress. Not to mention, Sing Sing Theater is definitely the place for eye candy. It’s as if there’s a minimum hotness requirement before entering. Now that I’ve said it, I’m not really sure how I got into the club in the first place—just kidding, anyone can enter, I promise! Finally, a little birdie told me that every Thursday is Ladies Night at Sing Sing, where drinks are on the house for all you beautiful ladies from 9 PM until midnight. For all expat-addicts seeking foreign eye candy, Friday night is the night to pop by as all the very attractive expats seem to gather here to celebrate the end of the week. 

อย่างที่บอกว่าบาร์ที่นี่มี 2 ชั้น ทำให้เราสามารถเลือกมุมที่ชอบได้เลย สำหรับใครที่ชอบส่วนตัวหน่อยขอแนะนำเป็นชั้นที่ 2 มีที่นั่งแบบ Pagoda เป็นมุมปาร์ตี้เล็กๆ และด้านบนก็มีบาร์ไว้สั่งเครื่องดื่มเหมือนด้านล่าง พี่ๆ พนักงานบริการดีมากด้วยนะ ที่เราชอบสุดๆ เลยคือจะมีการจัดแสดงโชว์ทุกวันอาทิตย์ และจะมีตีมการแต่งตัวที่แตกต่างกันออกไป เราชื่นชอบในรายละเอียดที่ Sing Sing ตั้งแต่การตกแต่งร้านยันโชว์จากเหล่าเซเล็บชื่อดังมากมาย บางคนเคยขึ้นเวที Thailand’s Got Talent มาแล้วด้วยนะ มันอลังการงานสร้างมากและสนุกสุดๆ แถมอาหารตาที่นี่ดี๊ดีเหมือนคัดคนเข้างานเลย ไม่รู้เราหลุดมาได้ยังไง (ขำๆ นะ จริงๆ ทุกคนมาได้จ้า) ทางทีมงานแอบกระซิบว่าทุกๆ วันพฤหัส ทางร้านมีจัด Ladies Night สำหรับสาวๆ ตั้งแต่ 21.00 ถึงเที่ยงคืนด้วยนะ ส่วนคืนวันศุกร์ที่นี่พลาดไม่ได้เลยสำหรับสาวๆ สายฝ. เพราะหนุ่มๆ ผมทองทั้งเมืองจะมารวมกันอยู่ที่นี่ทุกคืนวันศุกร์ ยังไงแล้วก็ฝึก speak English แล้ววิ่งมาที่นี่ได้เลย ย้ำว่าวันศุกร์นะคะ

Sing Sing Theater is housed on Sukhumvit 45, near BTS Phrom Phong. The doors are open every Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 PM to 2 AM with the exception of Friday and Saturday where it is open until 3 AM.
